My practical Diplom work examines the development of a jewellery collection made of plastic: necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The pieces of jewellery were mostly created from colourful plastic bottles, bubble wrap, bags and plastic cups. The plastic bags were used to give the jewellery colour. In order to shape the plastic, the material was heated with various tools.

In my theoretical work I focused on the topic of society and fashion. The subject was divided into three main chapters: Islam and fashion, fashion as a way of thinking, and fashion in the social media. The topic of fashion connects the theoretical and the practical side of my Diplom thesis.
