Atuin — A Smart Economy System
Prof. Frank Georg Zebner
In a restricted world, infinite growth is not a sensible approach. Real progress can only be accomplished through consolidation and increased efficiency. In my practical Diplom project, a platform for local networking of economic players was created. The objective of the platform is to generate efficient economic structures—particularly where people have thus far had few opportunities to realise their own potential.

My theoretical work examines natural and artificial signs in product language. I investigate whether the distinction of signs based on origin is still of current relevance. Future generations will grow up in a reality consisting of increasingly virtual attributes. Signs will continue to be in existence that are interpreted in the same manner as natural signs, but they will be of cultural origin. The second part of the work describes a possible definition based on the way a sign is cognitively processed.
